    How come all the 5 star reviews on Facebook are people who are on the payroll ?? Jeremy Noftle is president of WCI media who built the website for brownstone ? Interesting ...Trevor Kai who is manager at Cooper McLintock and associates , this isn’t biased or anything. Maybe this is why...Wife and I went to a open house and loved the units. While at the open house Mick one of the realtors who was hosting told us about a deal that fell through on a unit. He told us if we liked it we should put in an offer. The day after we put in an offer for the price of 559,900 which Mick told us was the price. After putting in the offer for this pre-build Shaun McLintock with cooper McLintock and associates had advised our realtor they were “thinking” of reposting on MLS for 579,000 but were not 100% sure. In this market we put in the offer for 565k somewhere in between considering we were given NO base price to work with. As it turns out Shaun McLintock has been throwing the price of 579k to others and after waiting days with no response he told our realtor another offer came in and they are going for that one. They were obviously shopping around to see who bites at the larger price despite what we were told by Mick Thandi . There was no honouring what we were already told and I am sure what they did was completely legal but very shady behaviour to say the least. So we found out that the offer that came in was for exactly 579k the price that Shaun had been throwing out there. I contacted someone called Sam who stated he represented Brownstone and he appeared very concerned about this behaviour and with what we discussed,was very distraught at how these individuals were acting. I am merely a buyer but I represent the general public who are soon to be even more scrutinized by new rules in January and with people like Shaun McLintock and Mick who obviously work together to create this false frenzie to then inflate the price before your very eyes and not honour the price they originally told you is taking advantage to say the least. I feel sorry for the people who bought this not knowing the price we were given, I feel bad for anyone who is taken advantage of in this market. I spoke with Sam who claimed to represent brownstone. I think at this point he distanced himself from what they did and decided to give generic response to my texts. This says a lot about a company. Maybe you had a good experience with brownstone and this realtor company but if this review even for a second makes you question Cooper & McClintock’s practice I urge you do some more research and re-consider. Don’t let this market let people like this take advantage of hard working folks that deserve the best. To show you I am not just a disgruntled buyer who didn’t get what he wanted I was willing to purchase another unit and even then they couldn’t get that right on which units that were sold.

    Well John I can certainly appreciate your apology and hasn’t fallen on deaf ears,but we were told by Mick a price and Shaun took it upon himself to act shady. This wasn’t about prices changing because the offer they had from the other couple came in the same day as ours. Apart from only difference was Mick gave us our price and Shaun gave the other buyers his price that he wasn’t sure if they were going to re-list for on mls. I have the details of that transaction. Was this a coincidence ? I think not and pretty sure the other buyer didn’t just pull that number out of thin air. You know what happened and let’s put all he facts on the table and let people decide for themselves. Then to have someone called Sam represent brownstone when he clearly works for a media company called element iq to try and resolve an issue he is unable to do so. Sorry but this was not poor communication it was people taking advantage of a situation because of he market and new rules preying on others desperation
